Bringing Old Sleds to New Snow!!!

IVSA's Summer Sled Show & Swap Meet Results!!

A good time was had by all at the 2nd. Annual I.V.S.A. Summer Vintage Sled Show & Swap and as always, it's great to chat sleds with nice folks and old friends! Despite an early rain shower that kept everyone huddled in the show barns, there were still plenty of show sleds, quite a number of various vendors, a mini-train display, a 40's era vintage Harley Davidson motorcycle and a bunch of guys that rode in on their bikes to show off their vintage 70's-80's era motorcycles! 

One guy even brought a vintage boat to display and for a while there, we thought it was going to have to be the "Noah's Ark" for vintage sleds, due to all the pouring rain in the morning that seemed to last forever. Thankfully though, the good man upstairs saw it our way and poked the Sun out for the rest of the nice, warm day!

There were 31 *EXCELLENT*, high-quality show sleds in the main show barn, with two trick, one-of-a-kind racing sleds that need no introduction- The Twin-Track Moto Ski oval racer and the super-radical Kawasaki Shark with its custom built, supercharged 1100cc 5-cylinder radial engine!!! For those of you that haven't seen this work of engineering art.....GEEEZ! You need to add this to your bucket list as a MUST SEE.....period! Wow!!!
